The Ottawa Senators Women’s Hockey Club is excited to share that U22AA defence Kate Viel has committed to Ohio State University.
We are so proud of Kate who has been with the KGHA and Lady Sens throughout the entirety of her minor hockey career.
Based in Columbus Ohio, the team plays in the NCAA D1 Western Collegiate Hockey Association (WCHA) conference. Winner of the NCAA National Collegiate Championship in 2022 and 2024, the program is also the alma mater of Canadian and US Olympians and current PWHL players.
