2017-03-13 Former Lady Sen, Kanata Ranger Rodenburg wins Ontario title with Guelph

Former Lady Senator and Kanata Ranger Sophie Rodenburg hoists the McCaw Cup following the Guelph Gryphons 6-1 win over the Nipissing University Lakers March 11 at Guelph. The Gryphons successfully defended their Ontario University Athletics title. Sophie, a first-year bio-medical science student, moves on with her Gryphon team mates to the U SPORTS national championship in Napanee March 16 to 19.

Sophie's minor hockey career began at the age of 6 in the KGHA's fundamental program. She progressed through the ranks of the Kanata Rangers and the Ottawa Senators Women's Hockey Club, playing last season for the Intermediate AA Lady Sens.
