REMEMBRANCE DAY
November 11th 2023 - the Ottawa Senators Women’s Hockey Club remembered and honoured those who have served in times of war, military conflict, and peace by dropping a commemorative puck before the U22 Elite game and wearing pins of remembrance that symbolize unity and strength in times of war and peace.
This initiative was made possible through a Veterans Affairs Canada program that partners with hockey leagues and associations from coast to coast to coast to honour those who have served and sacrificed for our country.
The Lady Sens Team Captain Olwen Jones and Central York Captain Hannah Clarke were joined on the ice by current CAF member Lt Samuel Jones. Lt Jones is the brother of Olwen and Sens Alum Harrie Jones (2022).
